When High-Functioning Burnout Becomes the Norm
A path back to desire, vitality, and yourself.
I am struck by how many women who are successful in various threads of life — athletes, doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, moms, partners, women who you look at and think “wow, they have it all together” — are struggling with the same thing: high-functioning burnout.
Recently, I have been in conversation with some dear friends about their vision, desires, and goals for 2026.
They manage a household, work 40-hour weeks, train for races, have spotless homes, take their kids to seven different extracurricular programs, have perfect manicures, remember to send flowers on time, and squeeze in a date night once a month.
They are doing all the things but feeling little of it.
Regardless of how much sleep they get, they wake up exhausted.
The pressure, the endless to-dos, feeling overwhelmed by each day.
Feeling like they’re barely keeping up despite the constant doing.
The moment I ask them what they’re doing to nourish their spirit… everything gets quiet.
What desires they are pursuing.
What brings them joy (besides their kids).
What lights them up.
They struggle to answer.
“I used to xyz, but I don’t have time anymore.”
“I’m not in a season of life where I have space for anything extra.”
And perhaps the most honest and heartbreaking of all:
“I wouldn’t even know what to do. I can only think of what I desire and what brings me joy in the context of my kids. I don’t have a sense of myself in that way anymore.”
I see this so often, and I have experienced it myself.
We get so deep into the daily demands of caretaking others that we start neglecting ourselves.
We drift further and further away from who we are outside of the to-do list — outside of all the ways we show up for others, all the ways we perform throughout the day.
We become detached from our most innate desires.
We suppress our intuition.
We shut down the signals from our subtle body.
We become numb in service of others.
We become numb in the being of someone we think others need us to be.
But what if there is a path back to you?
What if you follow the pulse of your truest desire?
What if you prioritize the things that excite you?
How would your energy shift if you nurtured yourself, too?
This is the heart of the work I guide people through.
A remembering.
A return.
A coming-home to the parts of you that are beginning to stir — beginning to reawaken within.
Why I created VIBRANT
VIBRANT is a two-month, intimate 1:1 container where you reclaim your vitality from the inside out.
Not by stepping away from your life… but by fiercely choosing how you show up within it.
If reading this stirs something in you — a recognition, a longing, an ache you can no longer ignore — that matters. That’s the first thread pulling you back to yourself.
Reach out.
We begin December 3 — and I have an “I’m ecstatically ready for this” rate to those on my list available if you sign up before the weekend ends.
It’s $2,495 — rate increases on Monday and the spot goes out more widely.
If your body is whispering yes — even softly — I’d love to have a conversation.
We’ll set up a call to see if this is the right next step for you.
Tertia
